I had surgery June 7th for my hernia, and it all went really well for the most part. The recovery has been rough as the pain is pretty bad. Funny how I go in there to get rid of one pain only to contract another. However, once the scars and bruises heal up I'll be good to go back to boxing in about eight weeks.

My boss pressured me into going back to work today which I did, but when I walked in she seemed rather shocked to see me. She told me if I could only work for an hour that was fine. I ended up pulling a half day and she gave me a lift home.

I still ended up getting about a week off of work which I had hoped I could use to get near the end of or finish Final Fantasy XII, but once I started it up I realized that I had messed up Balthier's license board. I had planned to make him my Yizamat (sp?) killer by giving him the Bushi and Shikari licenses. This allows for the ability to equip the Yagyu Darkblade (from Shikari) and the robes that enhance dark damage (from Bushi). However I had went Bushi first and learned all his quickenings, but you NEED to learn one in a specific spot on Shikari in order for him to get the darkblade. So I locked myself out of the one weapon I would need later. So I ended up starting all over again. By Wednesday I was able to get back to where I was, and the licenese for the Yagyu Darkblade is mine. I switched jobs around a bit to as follows.

Tomorrow I think I'm going to try and do a half day again but if I can't I'll just power through it with my pain pills. I kind of get the impression I'm not supposed to take them at work, but today I took one in the morning anyway. They don't last that long either way. I mean they'll make me drowsy but the pain relief part goes away pretty damn fast.
